A real case - how precisely Screate wire laser diameter gauge can do


One of our sales bring a set of non-contact bench-top laser diameter gauge O2 to visite a prospect customer in their office, this is a real case we usually experience in a proof of concept (POC). Let’s see what happened. 

The sales person initially set O2 laser diameter gauge at precision 0.0001 mm, and test with our standard wire samples with diameters: 0.0995 mm, 0.0232 mm, 0.0598 mm. Here is the video:


As you see, the sample wires diameter were tested and displayed immediately once put into measure zone. Then we moved the sample wires back-and-forth to demonstrate the superb repeatability, as shown in the video, the micrometer display didn’t change a bit, it was questioned by the customer, he said, ‘I have been 2 decades in the industry, used lot of test instruments, I have never experienced such a high repeatability if wire moving like this. Prove it was not locked data, then I will order your instruments.’  

As he doubted about the performance, nothing can convince him unless the product itself. So we do a further testing, videoed as following:



We changed the test range setting down to 0.00001mm, which is our nominal accuracy and it convinced hundreds of prospects like this case every year after demonstrating. Only few international brands of instruments perform at the same level, but charges much higher than ours.
